Volunteer Bike Mechanics Needed

Are you a hard-working individual who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty? We need people just like you to help with our Plainfield Bike Exchange! We are currently seeking volunteer bike mechanics to help repair and recondition pre-owned bikes. No experience is necessary, but it is preferred. Flexible hours are available Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturdays are especially needed from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Learn a new skill and meet new friends! For more information call 908-822-8672.

“If you are someone who likes to do hands-on projects, and enjoys fixing bikes on your free time, then the Bike Exchange is meant for you,” said Russell Triolo, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County. “This is a great opportunity for a young individual to learn a new skill or continue to gain more knowledge in this type of field, and we are always happy to bring in new volunteers.”
