Vittoria Grady Receives CVES Quinn Scholarship

The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad (CVES) is pleased to announce that Vittoria Grady was awarded this year’s John and Josephine Quinn Scholarship. Vittoria is a 2023 graduate from Arthur L. Johnson High School. She has been on the honor roll for three straight years and has been inducted into the Spanish, English, and Science National Honors societies. Vittoria has also achieved the Varsity Basketball team GPA award for 2021 an 2022 and highest GPA in Spanish 3 Honors.

Vittoria is a member of Heroes and Cool Kids, which helps middle school students learn the dangers of bullying and the importance of respect. She is a member of the Future Educators Club and has conducted monthly meetings and made holiday cards for students. Vittoria participated in fundraisers for such things as raising money for “Comfort Kit Drives’ for less fortunate students and volunteered in the Science National Honors Society and tutors students. 

Vittoria is a Clark resident and is planning to attend college in the fall to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. CVES is proud to help Vittoria realize her goal by awarding her the Quinn Scholarship. Jack Quinn was a long-time member of CVES and his wife, Josephine, served on its Ladies Auxiliary.
