Paint Night for Students and Parents

Valley Road fourth and fifth graders, along with their parents, enjoyed an evening of painting and creativity. Over 100 attendees painted a bird looking at the sunrise under the direction of art teacher, Kerry Kennedy. “The snow was falling outside that evening, but inside we were looking ahead to Spring,” said Kennedy. “The students and parents all enjoyed making their artwork unique and reflective of their own ideas.” This was the final paint night, which is sponsored by the PTA, for all of the grades throughout the school year.
