Mrs. Nicole Brighouse’s sixth-grade students at Franklin School in Rahway are excitedly investigating properties of air. The students are collecting data with various weather tools; such as a barometer, anemometer, thermometer, compass, and hygrometer. The collected data is then analyzed by the students and they make predictions regarding future weather changes. As their understanding of meteorology increases, students apply their knowledge to the analysis of current weather systems such as Hurricanes Matthew and Nicole.
