Rotary Club of Union holds Paper Goods Drive

Rotary Club of Union

The Rotary Club of Union held a paper goods drive for the month of February. The goods collected were distributed at St. Joseph’s Social Service Center in Elizabeth where almost 200 children and adults are fed every weekend. Members of the Rotary club donated 1,250 hot and cold cups, 940 sturdy paper plates, 150 take out food containers and 4 – 4 pound ice tea mix containers.

Each month the Rotary Club holds a drive or performs a service meant to positively impact on our community. In the past, drives have resulted in donations of goods or services to the Union food pantry, to Cornell Hall nursing home, and to area shelters. Established in Union in 1941, members of Rotary continue to work for and believe in the principle of Service Above Self.
