Join Bindu Bhatt for a virtual meditation session. No experience necessary. Bindu has practiced meditation for over 30 years and would like to share her insight with you.

Beginners Flow Yoga

Thursdays at 6:00 pm

This class will lead you through the foundations of yoga postures, body awareness, and alignment, relaxation of the mind, and connection with the breath. You will learn how to improve muscle strength, promote flexibility, and build your own yoga program.                        

AARP Presents Downsizing and Decluttering: You Can’t Take it With You

Owning too much stuff can impede people from relocating or getting health care in their homes. Understand why “stuff” is so important to some people and learn practical, easy-to-follow tips on downsizing and decluttering.                 

Our Mysterious Brains Explained

Take a journey into your brain. Find out why you get bad “vibes” from some people, why young children do not get sarcasm, and why teenagers are so difficult to understand. Discover why some parts of our body are so sensitive to touch, why you can really “love” chocolate, why some foods bring back memories, and why drinking alcohol makes you run to the bathroom. All questions about the brain are welcome! Taught by Barbara Bogner, associate professor of Anatomy & Physiology who taught at Middlesex County College for 27 years.

AARP presents Six Pillars of Brain Health
