Thursday Morning Club Donates To CASA
The GFWC Thursday Morning Club collected backpacks and essential school supplies for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Morris and Sussex Counties. With the assistance of the Staples Connect Program and the generosity of the TMC members, volunteers filled twenty-five fully stuffed backpacks with PPE supplies and school supplies. Lisa Barsky Firkser, Ph.D. and CASA Executive Director picked up the supplies which will help foster children get off to a solid start for this school year.
The TMC is celebrating 125 years of service to the community. Different groups, such as preschool and Before and Aftercare Child Care, have been working on special projects for the foster children during this past year.
