THE WESTFIELD HISTORICAL SOCIETY PRESENTS: JUST ABOUT SUMMER, AN AFTERNOON OF OUTDOOR MUSIC AND DANCE

Join the Westfield Historical Society and their guests for a fun-filled afternoon of music and dance on the front lawn of the Reeve House on Saturday June 10th from 2-4 p.m. Come out to celebrate the end of the spring and welcome the summer in style!
We are delighted to have Al and Efrat from the local band The Fine Line returning at popular request to perform from their extensive repertoire of popular songs. Many of you will be familiar with Fine Line from their regular Saturday evening performances at 16 Prospect in downtown Westfield.
In addition to the live music, instructors from the Westfield Ballroom (formerly the Fred Astaire dance studio) and the Westfield Y Dance Academy adult tap class, together with some adult dance students, will be dancing on our large outdoor dance floor. The audience will also be invited to try out various steps, guided by teachers and advanced students.
Admission is $5 for adults, kids under 5 free. Admission includes complimentary light refreshments and delicious baked goods will be on sale.
All ages are invited! Join in the fun! If you or your kids ever wanted to try out some Latin dances, or explore the Shim Sham, timesteps or how to paddle & roll, here’s your chance! Learn some ballroom dance steps, tap routines or just watch as the experts perform.
There is no rain-date, so please call the Westfield Historical Society for inclement weather information (908-654-1794).
