This exhibit features a wide variety of Artworks by: Jose Camacho, Patricia Cazorla, Marco Munoz Jarmillo, Kristen Lopez, Luisa Pinzon, Gustavo Rojas and Lorena Vera.

Curator, Lawrence Cappiello relates, “The Ties That Bind is an expression of the reach of artwork from other cultures to show us the new and different and also the common points it expresses in regard to our cultures and backgrounds. By seeking to express what moves the artist, the artist also finds thoughts, feelings, emotions that are true of peoples outside of their culture. These universal connections bind us all in the Human Family.”

The United States is a country of great cultural diversity. People living here that came, as all of our ancestors did, from other countries, not only brought their baggage, but their foods, their music, their work skills and their art. All of this has enriched this country and our national culture, which has been influenced in turn by these new cultural additions.
