Our thanks to those individuals and families who have generously supported the 2019 Parent- Teacher Council (PTC) Scholarship Fund. To date, we have raised over $12,000 for the Fund. For those who have not yet contributed, there is still time, and we need your support!
Established in 1957, The PTC Scholarship Fund benefits graduating Westfield High School seniors who demonstrate financial need, academic perseverance and community involvement. The 8-12 scholarships awarded annually—which last year totaled almost $20,000—truly do make a difference in the lives of the graduating seniors. Each year, the PTC Scholarship Fund Committee must make tough decisions when selecting recipients, and due to limited funds, must unfortunately turn away several worthy applicants.
The PTC Scholarship Fund relies solely on the generosity of our community for donations. Please help us meet the needs of our students in the Class of 2019 by supporting this Fund. Your donation, no matter what the size, will be greatly appreciated and will help us to move closer to our goal of providing $20,000 in awards again this year.
