The Hudson Shakespeare Company comes to Cranford on July 30

Join us on Monday, July 30 as The Hudson Shakespeare Company comes to Cranford for a performance of William Shakespeare’s All’s Well That Ends Well, directed by Jon Ciccarelli. A court romance set in 18th century France and Italy, the play features comic subplots, swordplay, seduction and (perhaps) unrequited love. The production, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Cranford Public Library, will be performed in the Cranford Community Center.

The Hudson Shakespeare Company has presented over 100 productions since 1992, including an annual Shakespeare festival, modern theater and educational programs. They are known for producing many lesser-known and lesser-performed works, “in order to expose audiences to all facets of Elizabethan and Jacobean drama.” One of Shakespeare’s “problem plays” (works not easily categorized as comedies or tragedies), All’s Well That Ends Well draws parallels between love and war.

No registration is required for this free concert. The Cranford Community Center is located at 220 Walnut Avenue, Cranford, NJ 07016, and is accessible to all.  For more information about the Friends of the Cranford Public Library, visit cranfordlibrary.org.
