The College Women’s Club of Cranford Honors Local Businessman Nick Perrotti of Perrotti’s Quality Meats

Submitted by Jacqueline Catanzaro

Nick Perrotti of Perrotti’s Quality Meats, at the corner of S. Union Ave. and Cherry St. in Cranford, was instrumental in selling over a 1,000 dollars in Coloring Books for the College Women’s Club of Cranford Scholarship Program. He not only allowed the Coloring Books to be prominently displayed, but went out of his way to encourage patrons to purchase the books. We are grateful and honored for his help.

If you don’t know, Perrotti’s has been a part of the Cranford Community for over 50 years. Over time, the store has evolved from being an old world Butcher Shop, to now also offering countless homemade prepared specialties and deli items. They pride themselves for being a family owned and operated business that treats customers like part of the family. The sons of David Perrotti, Dave Jr. and Nick Perrotti, have earned the responsibility of taking over the family business with an eye towards keeping Perrotti’s a part of the community for the next 50 years. We wish them well and thank them for their contributions to the community as well as the College Women’s Club of Cranford. Thank you Nick!

All Cranford women, who are graduates of a four year college or university, are invited to join the club. Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month. For more information about becoming a member, call Janet Collins at 908-653-1452. There will be no meeting in the month of December.
