Historical Society of Scotch Plains and Fanwood

At its meeting held on March 22^nd, the Historical Society of Scotch Plains and Fanwood received a most welcome surprise. Dr. James Checchio presented the Society with a $7,500 donation from The Checchio Family Trust. In addition to being a member of the Board of Directors of the Historical Society Dr. Checchio maintains a chiropractic practice, is a Boy Scout leader, a member of the Scotch Plains Township Planning Board, a member of the Township Historical Preservation Committee, and a member of the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign. The Historical Society wishes to thank Dr. Checchio and all donors for their financial contributions.
