The 24th Annual Fanny Wood Day Coming to Downtown Fanwood
The 24th Annual Fanny Wood Day will take place on September 15th, 2019 from 10am – 5pm in Downtown Fanwood.
Fanny Wood Day is much more than just a street fair. This year’s Fanny Wood Day will host a few new additions. They are Sheelen’s Wine & Beer Garden w/Oyster Bar, a Main Stage on South Ave near 1st Street with 4 local bands, Best Friend Dog Animal Adoption and DJ from All Star Entertainment in the Kids Zone. Fanny Wood Day has something to offer everyone young and older. You can shop the many interesting booths, visit the local merchants, say hello to Mayor Mahr & Council at their booth, eat some fabulous food while listening to some great music and enjoy a beautiful day in Fanwood.
The KIDS ZONE
Visit us at the South Street side train station parking lot for fun, games & activities from 10:00 am to 5:00 p.m. There will be a trackless train, numerous bounce rides, pony rides, petting zoo & games –Free activities from the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA include: Paint your own “Y” T-shirt, Make your own slime, Corn hole games, Soccer goal kicks- Obstacle course.
The Joker will be driving the Batmobile and it will be parked in front of Edward Jones at 250 South Avenue.

COME HUNGRY
Grab some delicious food from one of the many food exhibitors and trucks. We have Mammas on the Go, Catlike Reflexes Truck, Pasquale’s Zeppoles, Manny’s Fresh Squeezed Lemonade & Ices, Athens Delight Greek Food, Dani’s Kettle Corn, Mr. Softee Ice Cream, Latin Bites Truck, Top Tea, Kona Ice, Jersey Pickles, Good Donut Shop, Viva La Crepes & more! We will also have Sheelen’s Bistro Wine & Beer Garden with an Oyster Bar!
MUSIC
Musical entertainment will be provided at the main stage area on South Ave with bands: The Golden Dimes, Bryan Hansen Band, Billy Wilkins & North Avenue Band. So, come have a beer or glass of wine, get some great food, have a seat and enjoy the music.
