Members of the Summit Police Department recently rode in the four-day Police Unity Tour from Florham Park, New Jersey to Washington D.C. This year, they road in honor of Detective Matthew Tarentino who died in the line of duty on May 30, 2017.
The Police Unity Tour raises awareness of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty and raises funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum.
