The Summit Police Department’s 8th annual food drive runs through Friday, June 3. All collected items will be donated to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry of St. Teresa of Avila Church, located in Summit. The Police Department is asking for donations of canned food and non-perishable items. 

Collection bins are located at the following locations in Summit thru June 3:  Police Department lobby at City Hall, 512 Springfield Avenue; YMCA, 67 Maple Street; The Connection, 79 Maple Street; UPS Store, 55 Union Place; MONDO, 426 Springfield Avenue; Summit High School, 125 Kent Place Boulevard; Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School, 272 Morris Avenue; Washington Elementary School, 507 Morris Avenue; Franklin Elementary School, 136 Blackburn Road; Lincoln-Hubbard Elementary School, 52 Woodland Avenue; Brayton Elementary School, 89 Tulip Street; Jefferson Elementary School and Primary Center, 110 Ashwood Avenue; Wilson Primary Center, 14 Beekman Terrace
