NATIONAL NIGHT OUT – AUGUST 3
Community Night will be combined with National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
From the NATW: National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
The DCP is honored to co-host Summit’s “Biggest Night Out” along with the Summit Police Department. This event is a very special night to foster a positive relationship between the Summit Community and the different law enforcement agencies who help Summit’s residents each day.
Food Trucks Open – 6:00 p.m.
Blessing of Badges – 7:00 p.m.
Concert – 7:15 p.m.
The event will also feature: Obstacle courses and bounce houses, Dunk a Cop Dunk Tank, Chris Clark’s Extreme Bike Stunt Show, Displays and demos by Summit Police, Fire, EMS, and Public Works, Displays and demos by Union County SWAT, K-9, and State and Regional safety vehicles, Fitness demos,Free hot dogs at the PAL food cart.
