The Summit Department of Community Programs is announcing registration is now open for the following fall programs.
Fall Youth Football is open to children in grades four to eight. Teams will be formed according to their age, grade, and weight coefficient plan. Players will participate in the Suburban Youth Football League, playing against teams from surrounding towns. Practices begin August 13, 2018. Register by June 22 to receive a free Youth Football tee-shirt. The registration deadline is August 13, 2018.
Flag Football is open to all Summit boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade. Teams will be formed with consideration to the elementary school attended. Flag Football provides young players an opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while improving basic skills. The program begins the weekend of September 8 and 9, 2018. The registration deadline is August 17, 2018.
Recreational Soccer for children ages eight to 14. Teams will be formed according to date of birth. Participants will play in the Inter-County Soccer League, playing against teams from surrounding towns. The registration deadline is July 6 at 1 p.m.
