Students Visit Local Historical Sites

The fourth grade students of Roosevelt School in Rahway had a walking trip to the Merchants & Drovers Tavern and Rahway Cemetery. They were enthralled learning what life was like in Rahway during colonial days and visiting the grave sites of such notable people as Abraham Clark, signer of the Declaration of Independence; and mystery writer, Carolyn Wells.
