Stirling Volunteer Fire Department’s Venison Dinner
The Stirling Volunteer Fire Department’s popular annual Venison Dinner will be held on Sat., March 26 in the firehouse at 321 Somerset St., Stirling – doors open at 6 p.m. The $50 per person ($25 for children under 12) donation, includes a sumptuous meal with venison cooked several different ways ranging from mouthwatering tenderloins and other choice cuts, to chili, tacos, stuffed peppers, meatloaf, and more.
Additionally, there is salad, a variety of freshly prepared hot sides, fresh baked bread, and dessert. For beverages there is complimentary wine, beer, soda, coffee, tea, and bottled water. The food is served buffet style and you can eat all you care to eat.
This meal is expertly prepared by Stirling firefighter chefs and always pleases everyone. Each year attendees rate this venison dinner the best in the state and attendees come from throughout central and northern NJ to partake in this once a year feast. So please come out and enjoy this fabulous meal while supporting our local volunteer firefighter heroes.
Tickets are available by calling 908 304-3975, or from Stirling firefighters or may be purchased at the door. There will be an extensive Tricky Tray with fantastic prizes, a 50-50, and other raffles.
This is one of the Stirling Fire Department’s major fund raisers and residents and non-residents are welcomed to enjoy themselves at this exceptional event.
