St. Michael Feast Will Feature Downtown Fun Games, Music, Local Food and Rides

The Feast of St. Michael celebrates its 13th year as a Cranford community event, Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 28th – Oct. 1st, at the grounds of St. Michaels’s School on Alden StreetHosted by St. Michael’s Parish and sponsored by a number of Cranford businesses and organizations, the Feast offers food, new rides, prizes and live entertainment. Thousands of people have been known to stop by the festival during the four-day event, and Feast organizers expect a record turnout this year.
Attendees will get a chance to take in a bird’s eye view of Cranford from atop a Ferris wheel, enjoy a spin on the Sizzler, listen to live performances by The Fine Line, Brother John Brown Band, Goldenseal Band and The Alden Street Band and snack on food from local eateries.
“Pay one price Bracelet night” will be on Thursday, September 28th and Sunday, October 1st for unlimited rides. Also, advance sale discount ride tickets may be purchased until Tuesday, September 26th at St. Michael’s Parish Center, 40 Alden Street and Lifeline Technology Solutions, 108 Walnut Ave.
The event also offers a 50/50 raffle with a chance to win a portion of the proceeds. Tickets can be purchased at the St. Michael’s Parish Center. Remaining proceeds will be used to maintain and improve the church and school facilities.
