SPF-HS Varsity Boys’ Volleyball Team Ends Amazing First Season

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Varsity Boys’ Volleyball Team had a remarkable first season as a varsity program. This team earned an overall record of twenty wins and four losses earning the Hackensack Tournament Championship as well as the Union County Conference Championship.

This Varsity Boys’ Volleyball Team earned the top seed in the Union County Interscholastic Athletic Conference Championship and earned the school’s first Boys Volleyball County Championship by defeating Summit High School in sets. This team also advanced to the quarter finals of the New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament.

The team consisted of Marcello Cappuccio Braedon Cooke, Colin Donahue, Adam Glod, Ethan Johnston, Ryan Metzger, Joshua Morris, Michael Rinaldi, Peter Sailsman, Joseph Varela, Steven Verrastro and Evan Zakovic. Head Volleyball Coach is Brock Hor, assisted by Matthew Ritter.
