Souper Bowl of Caring Food Drive at the Connection in Summit

The Souper Bowl of Caring organized a food drive to help stock the SAGE Eldercare food pantry for older adults in need January 28 to February 4 at the Connection, 79 Maple Street in Summit, New Jersey.
Organizers included volunteers from the Connection, the Summit Area YMCA, the Interfaith Council, and the Junior League of Summit. Food items included: tuna fish, small jars of peanut butter, individual packets of cheese, plain and peanut butter crackers, granola and protein bars, no-sugar fruit cups, and plain oatmeal packets. Donations are still needed and can be left at the reception area at SAGE Eldercare, 290 Broad Street, Summit.
