Seussical Jr. Presented at the Kenilworth Public Library in February

Seussical Jr. at the Kenilworth Public Library – February 13th

The Kenilworth Public Library will host Seussical Jr on Thursday, February 13 at 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Children ages 4 and up and their families are invited to register for this fantastical family musical based on the books of Dr. Seuss.

Children will be transported from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus. The Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

This program will be presented by Paper Mill Playhouse Children’s Theater Tour Students.

This presentation has been funded by The Ralph Errington Foundation.

Registration is required. Kenilworth residents may begin to register on Thursday, February 6. Out of town residents may begin to register on Tuesday, February 11, space permitting. To register call the library at 908-276-2451 or visit 548 Boulevard.
