The New Providence Senior Citizen Center will participate in a Day of Service on Saturday, May 13th. A breakfast bingo will be held from 10:30 to 12:30.
The day of service is in honor of a young woman named Courtney who died at the age of 22. Courtney was a loving and caring person who did volunteer work locally and abroad. Her family started a day of service to honor her memory and “Spread Love in Honor of Court”. At designated sights around town you will see Courtney’s friends and family beautifying New Providence by planting shrubs and flowers. This group of young men and women also wanted to do something special for the New Providence senior citizens. Therefore they will be hosting a Bingo Breakfast for residents 55 and older. Bingo will include free prizes and a breakfast of delicious baked goods, fruit, juice, coffee and tea will be served. The Senior Center is located at 15 East 4th Street. Please call 908.665.0046 to register.
