The Four Seasons
By Madison Sartoretti
You stand tall and grand with leaves of green
Protecting us from the strong sun beam
Giving a place for birds to rest
Giving me a place to rest
In autumn leaves fall and cannot be seen
Goodbye red, orange, gold and green
Bringing joy for all to see
Oh what fun these leaves can be
In winter they’re bare as the cold wind blows
Standing strong while it snows
Looking so lonely without its leaves
Winter won’t you go away please
In the spring buds will form
As the temperatures seem to warm
The leaves will start to grow again
For us to enjoy every now and then
