SAINT NICHOLAS GIFT GIVING COLLECTION BEGINS NOVEMBER 19

You heard of a “Giving Tree”? Well – St. Michael Parish, Cranford, will be having a St. Nicholas Gift Giving Shrine & Tree located in the main lobby of our church from November 19 thru December 4.
This shrine will include a statue of St. Nicholas and three bowls containing holy cards of St. Nicholas. On each holy card will be a label, on which a gift item for a needy person will be listed. If you would like to help someone less fortunate celebrate the holiday season, you may take one of these holy cards home, purchase the gift that is stated on the label and return the gift (unwrapped) to the church.
If you would like to help a family in need celebrate a holiday dinner, holy cards requesting supermarket gift cards will be available on the shrines Christmas tree or you can just drop them off.
All gifts donated will be given to the agency listed on the cards for distribution: Cranford Family Care, Catholic Charities and the Cerebral Palsy League (located in Cranford).
This collection of new gifts will begin during masses held on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the 5:30 pm Mass and end on Sunday December 4 following the noon Mass. Gifts must be brought to the church during this time only. All gifts will be delivered on Monday December 5. Please attach a label containing information such as item, size, gender and agency to which the gift is to be given. Please do not wrap the gift item.
