Resource Directory for Survivors of Domestic Violence

Safe+Sound Somerset Online Resource Directory

Safe+Sound Somerset’s newest resource, an online resource directory, is available at safe-sound.org/resource-directory. A guide to services is available for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families, plus others looking for community services. The categories in the Resource Directory include Hotlines/Helplines, Food & Basic Needs, Housing, Mental Health, Legal, and more.

Developed for survivors, family members, and friends of those impacted by domestic or sexual abuse, as well as professionals who work with survivors, the Resource Directory is a partial list of the resources available in our community and is a starting point to identify services that relate to an individual’s or family’s needs. Before choosing a provider, a person may consider searching websites for reviews, asking for recommendations from friends and peers, and/or contacting potential services for additional information to decide whether a provider is the right fit.

If you provide a service that would benefit survivors of domestic and sexual violence and you would like to be included in the Resource Directory, go to safe-sound.org/resource-directory and use the form to submit your request. Service providers can also submit information there to update their information.

Safe+Sound Somerset is here every day to help survivors write a new chapter that opens to a life of safety, hope, and healing that they deserve, providing them with the support they need — safe housing, legal advocacy, counseling, referrals — to help them face whatever challenges they encounter.
