Rotary Flapjack Fundraiser a success

Under the leadership of Club President Donna Eleazer, Rotary Roselle-Roselle Park recently filled an entire restaurant with pancakes, smiles and Rotary wheels! Members of the club acted as cashiers, wait staff, table cleaners and goodwill makers after a short training session from management. But we left the cooking to the very capable staff.

An almost forty year tradition of the Rotary Club of Roselle-Roselle Park, the pancake breakfast was held at Community United Methodist Church in Roselle Park for many years. During the Covid Pandemic the tradition was temporarily canceled until President Donna Eleazer brought it back but in a new format at Applebee’s Restaurant.

Rotary supporters were served a complete Applebee’s breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs, orange juice and coffee. Everyone one took home a Rotary cloth bag and memories of a community supporting a good cause.

So Donna Eleazer and the entire club membership thanks you all for coming!!!!

And, we raised some money for service projects planned throughout the Rotary year!

The Rotary Club of Roselle Park is a service organization which has served the twin boroughs of Roselle-Roselle Park since 1923 – 100 years! The only qualification for joining is that you are a good person who wishes to make a difference in the community, the world and in the lives of others. See what we do at roselle-roselleparkrotary.org, and join our cause.
