Pride Flag Raising Ceremony

On Saturday, June 3, 2023, The Borough of Roselle Park will be holding a Pride Flag Raising Ceremony at the Roselle Park Veterans Memorial Library at 12:00 p.m. There will be a Pride Month Proclamation, a free ice cream social, and guest speaker Rebecca Williams, Union County Commissioner, will join.
The Borough of Roselle Park is holding this ceremony in recognition of Pride Month. LGBTQ Pride Month is a celebration of LGBTQ voices, leaders, culture, and as a way to show support for LGBTQ rights. The LGBTQ community signifies the strength and solidarity of varied but united communities fighting for equality.
“Along with Roselle Park residents, I am looking forward to celebrating the LGBTQ community through the Pride Flag Raising Ceremony,” said Mayor Joe Signorello. “We will continue to show support of the LGBTQ community by standing with them and continuing to uplift them.”
