Police Youth Academy
Registration for this year’s Roselle Park Police Youth Academy is now open. This program is scheduled to run the week of July 31- August 4th, 2023.
This one week long academy is designed with the intention for our youth to gain an understanding of what it is like to be a police officer. Those accepted will undergo physical training and daily training in drill and ceremony as well as instruction in criminal investigation techniques, evidence recovery among other topics. In addition, cadets will participate in field trips and attend various demonstrations.
Cadets must presently be in 5th-7th grade. Deadline for applications is June 26th, 2023. A tuition fee of $30 must accompany the application to be considered. Applications are now available at the Roselle Park Police Headquarters.
