Renaissance Church relocates to Springfield Location

Renaissance Church, which met at the Summit Opera House above Winberie’s Restaurant since 2004, closed on its purchase of 639 Mountain Avenue, Springfield, in July.

“Renaissance Church is not a building. It has always been and will always be the people who are working together to build the kingdom of God. The church is God’s people, wherever they are, growing in God’s grace and going out into the world to carry his light. Our new building with a lot more space and fewer stairs, will be a tool to help us accomplish our mission of building disciples who invite and inspire others to love and serve Jesus together,” said Lead Pastor Christian Andrews.

The Springfield location was formerly Holy Cross Lutheran Church, which is holding services online.

Renaissance Church is a non-denominational church currently holding services online (live at 9 and 11 a.m. on Sundays), as well as offering virtual ways to connect through online support groups, prayer meetings, services for children, programs for middle school and high school students, and more (renchurch.com/online).
