Junior First Responders Program—registration is now OPEN! For ages 11–17, learn the basics of CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety, and receive a 2-year certification card upon completion. Week of August 24–28, La Grande Park Pavilion.

Learn the basics of CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety! Using guidelines provided by the American Safety & Health Institute, students who successfully complete the class receive 2-year certification cards and manuals for CPR and Basic First aid. They will also receive a certificate of completion for fire safety.

Learn how to deliver basic First Aid for emergencies such as bleeding, injury management, shock management, chest pain, allergic reaction, diabetics, and difficulty breathing. Learn CPR for all ages including the use of AED’s and what to do for someone who is choking. Students will also learn what to do if there is a fire, how to set up an emergency plan including exits and where to meet, if you are trapped, what to do, and how and when to use a fire extinguisher.

10 students maximum.

Little Hearts Big World, LLC. prides itself on running quality courses, with lots of hands-on practice and realistic scenarios. Its goal is to make sure students understand why they are doing something and are confident in the skills they learn during class.
