Reeve House gets a day of beauty

Volunteers from the L’Oreal Corporation of Clark visited the Westfield Historical Society’s Reeve House to take part in L’Oreal USA’s Annual Volunteer Day held on June 22nd.

It was a day of weeding, mulching, dead plant removal, bamboo shearing, decorating, sweeping and cleaning as twenty volunteers from the L’Oreal Corporation pitched in and accomplished these tasks as they have done in many previous years. Westfield Historical Society President, Brian Remite supervised the volunteers who worked despite the misty rain.

Since 1968, the 501(c)(3) non-profit Westfield Historical Society has worked to preserve, interpret and encourage interest in history, Westfield, and its residents through educational efforts and community outreach programs.
