Connecticut Farms School, Union, New Jersey, celebrated Read Across America Day on March 2, 2018. Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.
At Connecticut Farms, we celebrated Read Across America by having a day filled with Dr. Seuss themed reading activities. The students also participated in Dr. Seuss themed games and activities, read books written by Dr. Seuss, and enjoyed a light Dr. Seuss themed snack.
