Rahway Police Department Thank the FLAG of Rahway
On the morning of July 8th, 2020 members from the FLAG (Front Line Appreciation Group) of Rahway presented the men and women of the Rahway Police Department with 100 white roses. In addition to the roses, goody bags were distributed to officers by members of Girl Scout Troop 41748. Donations were made as a sign of appreciation for the hard work of local first responders during the coronavirus crisis.
Following the donation, the Rahway Police Department took time to recognize the tireless work of resident, Joanna Macaluso. During the COVID-19 pandemic Joanna worked for months in support of all local first responders. In recognition of her efforts, Chief John M. Rodger awarded Joanna the Meritorious Service Award for her exemplary efforts during a time of crisis.
