Rahway Food for Friends Thanksgiving Day Luncheon
Come and join Rahway Food for Friends for their Thanksgiving Day Luncheon on November 23, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The hot buffet style meal will be served at First Presbyterian Church, 1731 Church St., Rahway, NJ. The menu will include turkey, ham, mac and cheese, cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, yams, vegetable, ziti, mashed potatoes, gravy, desserts and beverages.
One of Rahway Food for Friends’ missions is to operate a weekly soup kitchen, to feed the hungry, homeless, and needy. Food donations will also be accepted on this day for the food pantry.
If you would like to make a donation for upcoming Holiday Luncheons, current needs include: long aluminum pans, short aluminum pans, spoons, forks, knives, napkins, 10’ plates, 12 oz bowls, Sternos with 6 hour wick, racks, 12 oz cups (hot and cold), serving spoons and forks, aluminum foil (500 yards), lunch bags, to go boxes/containers, and butter packets.
While these are the things currently needed, other donations are always accepted and appreciated.
