Youth Hoop Shoot Competition
On December 13, Rahway Elks Lodge #1075 hosted a Youth Hoop Shoot Competition at the Rahway Recreation Center. Boys and girls aged 8-13 from the Rahway area competed against each other by trying to successfully complete 25 basketball free-throw attempts.
The winners of the event, who will compete at the East Central District competition on January 7 at the Rahway Recreation Center, are Journey F., girls 10-11, and Corey L., boys 12-13.
Winners at each level of competition will advance until reaching the finals to be held on April 20-23, 2023, at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
