2nd Annual Fall Fun Day

The Rahway Elks hosted the 2nd Annual Fall Fun Day on Sunday, October 15, 2023, and we had a blast!
Everyone enjoyed delicious food including hot dogs, chicken nuggets, fries, chips, drinks, and candy. They all got a pumpkin or two to paint, decorate with face stickers, and take home for free.
Elroy the Elk showed up and everyone was excited to high-five him and take pictures. The real cherry on top of this event was the surprise visit from our wonderful Rahway Fire Department. Kids were able to climb aboard the truck, sit in the driver’s seat, and even honk the very loud horn. All kids who visited the firetruck got a plastic helmet as well. Everyone also enjoyed the fun toss games and Pin the Eye on the Zombie.
This event was sponsored by the Elks National Foundation (ENF) with a $1,000 grant. A huge shoutout to all the members of the Elks for getting this vision to become a reality for the 2nd year in a row! From cooking, setup, the quickest cleanup I have ever seen, and all through the event, our members were there in numbers ready to play and help.
