Rahway Dance Theatre

Rahway Dance Theatre’s Competition Troupe is back like it never left! These dancers trained all year, 5-10 hours weekly in classical ballet, tap, and jazz to prepare. RDT took a trip to the National Dance Showcase in Atlantic City in July for a 4 day circuit of dance! Their “Mini” and “Petite” groups grabbed the hearts of the crowd and they were coined the National Title winners. Like true professionals, these dancers set a goal and didn’t quit until the job was done. Bravo!
RDT is looking forward to growth & new opportunities for their 2017-18 Season. The direction and focus of their instructors, the commitment of their dance families, and the support of the Rahway community is what keeps them going and will keep them winning!
Auditions for RDT’s Competition Troupe will be open to ages 7-18 with at least 2 years of ballet training. All dancers must be enrolled in 5+ hours of technique classes weekly at Rahway Dance Theatre to remain on the team. Classes are also available for non-competitive groups (ages 3-18) and adults.
