What do a war orphan, a terrorist organization and an F-16 fighter jet have in common? The answer is the motive, method and means for revenge. Mr. Holling’s debut novel, The Falcon’s Revenge, was released on March 1, 2017. Since then many of his friends and family have enjoyed reading his book.
Shortly after its release Holling submitted the book to ReadersFavorite.com, an online review site. When asked why, Holling replied, “I was interested in getting an independent and unbiased review of my book. Friends and family are not exactly unbiased. ReadersFavorite.com uses volunteer readers to review books, so I submitted The Falcon’s Revenge and held my breath.”
Well, that breeze you felt was Mr. Holling exhaling. The reviewer gave The Falcon’s Revenge a 5-star rating, the highest possible. Here’s what the reviewer said:
“J. E. Holling has written a terrorist thriller that is nothing short of a masterpiece. The villain is well-crafted, a bad guy who is given a powerful motive and the means to carry out a deadly mission. The plot is very gripping and, from the first page, the reader is already absorbed into the dynamics of the story. The Falcon’s Revenge: An Aviation-Based Thriller has a fascinating and colorful setting, offers a compelling story with strong characters, and explores elements of radical beliefs and how the weak fall prey to them. Each page is loaded with action and intrigue and there is no way to part with the story until its satisfying end.”
