On Wednesday, August 17th, members of the Linden Police Department, friends, and City Hall employees gathered for cake and coffee to bid farewell to outgoing Police Chief James M. Schulhafer. Chief Schulhafer retired September 1st after 39 years of service to the City of Linden. We all wish him a happy and healthy retirement! The family’s dedication to the city lives on as his son, James E., is a city police officer, and his son, Kevin, is a city firefighter.
