Roselle Park Partners with the Greater Union Township Chamber of Commerce

Partnership with the Chamber of Commerce

Borough of Roselle Park

On Thursday January 26, 2023, officials of the Greater Union Township Chamber of Commerce and the Borough of Roselle Park gathered at Meridia on Westfield to announce their new partnership to support the local Roselle Park business community. The “Meet and Greet” style event included Roselle Park Mayor Joseph Signorello III, members of Borough Council, several Roselle Park small business owners, the Greater Union Township Chamber of Commerce Executive Director/CEO James Masterson, and various Chamber of Commerce officials.

This new partnership with the Chamber of Commerce will expand Roselle Park’s networking capabilities by benefiting from the Chamber’s growing association of almost 400 businesses. As stated on their website, the Chamber’s mission is to promote, unite, represent and strengthen its members through networking opportunities, special events and a variety of economic initiatives. The January 26th event formalized the beginning of the relationship between the Borough and Chamber. All local business owners are encouraged to consider joining the Chamber as well, and take advantage of the myriad of benefits offered by the association.

“Roselle Park is growing, and our local business community is no exception,” said Mayor Joe Signorello. “I am looking forward to seeing these businesses utilize the new resources available through this new partnership.” Also among those in attendance were Councilman Jay Robaina, also serving as Roselle Park’s Governing Body liaison to the Chamber and whose efforts made this collaboration possible, along with Councilman Khanjan Patel, the Governing Body’s Commerce liaison to the local business community as a whole. “The goal of this affiliation is to further support our businesses by connecting them with a myriad of tools they can use to grow, including mentorship, B2B and consumer resources, discounts, networking and exposure,” says Councilman Robaina. “We are eager to improve the local business economy and believe this partnership will be beneficial to and will strengthen Roselle Park’s business community,” said Councilmen Robaina and Patel.
