Cub Scouts Hold Raingutter Regatta

Cub Scout Pack 23 held a Raingutter Regatta on May 10 in the St. Genevieve’s Church hall. Each Cub Scout created a sailboat from parts provided in a kit, and then decorated the boat and the sail.

Using their lung power, the Cub Scouts blew air into the sails of their boats as they raced against each other on a two-lane track filled with water. The race was all for fun and the Scouts had a great time!

Cub Scout Pack 23 and Boy Scout Troop 23 meet on Wednesday nights at the hall under St. Genevieve’s Church, 200 Monmouth Road, Elizabeth. New members are welcome at any time, all year round. For more details, please contact Dan Bernier, Scoutmaster, at (908) 451-1948 or webfoottroop@gmail.com.
