Outstanding Citizens Honored at the Boy Scouts of America 2018 Union County Lifetime Achievement Awards Dinner

Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council honored local community members at the annual Boy Scouts of America Union County Lifetime Achievement Awards Dinner that was held on the evening of Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Pantagis Renaissance in Scotch Plains. This year’s honorees were Catherine Flynn, Paul Harbaugh, Ana Liranzo, Mayor Colleen Mahr, Nicholas Pantagis, and Mary Robinson.

The event recognized these six outstanding citizens for their community service, as evidenced by their leadership and interests within the Union County community, and for their embodiment of the values of the century old Scout Oath and Law in their personal and professional lives. The event co-chairs were Timothy Boyle of 16 Prospect Wine Bar & Bistro and Gene Jannotti of the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

Catherine Flynn is a partner at DeCotiss, Fitzpatrick, Cole & Giblin, LLP; Paul Harbaugh is the Chancellor of Union County Rugby Club; Ana Liranzo is CEO and Owner of Omega Maintenance Corp. located in Elizabeth; Colleen Mayr has been the Mayor of Fanwood since 2004 and currently serves as Director of Business Development for DMR Architects in Hasbrouck Heights; Nicholas Pantagis is the Owner of Pantagis Renaissance; and Mary Robinson is the Executive Director & Founder of Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss and the Founder and former Executive Director of Good Grief located in Morristown, NJ.

Union County is a part of the Patriots’ Path Council, Boy Scouts of America which serves over 16,000 youth in over 400 Scouting units in communities throughout Union, Middlesex, Somerset, Sussex, and Morris Counties.
