Officer Thomas Belscher Toy Drive
We are happy to announce the start of a new tradition, the Officer Thomas Belscher Annual Toy Drive! Florham Park resident, Thomas Belscher, was sworn in this month as the first ever Florham Park Police Department Honorary Police Officer. Officer Belscher, who is 7 years old, has Barth Syndrome and Adrenoleukodystrophy; two rare genetic disorders. Despite adversity, Thomas can always be found with an infectious smile and brave spirit!
Thomas receives treatment and care at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). This year, Officer Thomas Belscher, the Florham Park PBA Local 78 and CHOP are teaming up for a virtual toy drive in Thomas’ name. Please help the Officer Thomas Belscher Toy Drive team meet our goal of $1,000. These donations go directly to the purchase of toys and fun experiences for patients at CHOP.
The Florham Park PBA will be making a donation match of $1,000 when we reach our goal! We appreciate all the support and generosity in our effort to help the patients and families at CHOP have a magical holiday season. Please visit the link below to donate, support or share.
