Chatham Trivia Night Fundraiser

Chatham Education Foundation

The Chatham Education Foundation (CEF) attracted more than 350 contestants to attend Trivia Night’s ten rounds of brainteasers on the event’s tenth anniversary. Each team handled questions with varying degrees of success and one collective goal – to raise funds for Chatham’s six public schools. CEF raised more than $30K from Trivia Night toward curriculum-enhancing teacher and administrator grants that would not otherwise be funded by the school district’s limited budget.

On Saturday November 4th, 32 teams filled the Chatham High School gym in creative themed costumes, coordinating table decor, and plenty of food and beverage to fuel the team spirit. There was no shortage of imagination with such team names as Chatham Quiz-ine, Barbie “Ken” Beat You At Trivia, Let’s Get Quizzical!, National Lampoon’s Quizmas Vacation, and This Means Wario.

Best Dressed was awarded to the “Stay Tuned” team and contestants dressed as the movie cast. “The Geek Gods,” who dressed in togas and sipped from vintage wine cups in a Parthenon-inspired atmosphere, took home Best Table Décor.

CEF extends its sincerest gratitude to the following volunteers, event sponsors and friends of CEF for making Trivia Night a huge success:
