Fire Department receives new equipment

New Providence Lions Club

Last month, in keeping with our mission of service to the community, and ongoing support of our local first responders, the New Providence Lions Club proudly donated funds to help the New Providence Fire Department purchase two FAST Rescue Boards.

Manufactured by FAST Rescue Solutions, Deputy Fire Chief Drew Vignali explained to the Lions Club that, “The FAST Rescue Board is not only new and innovative but increasingly one of the most versatile pieces of rescue equipment in the fire service. The board is engineered to allow members to quickly secure a victim and bring them out of a dangerous situation as rapidly as possible.”
