NJWA Summer Symphony Orchestra Presents Annual Concert

Music enthusiasts will experience a very exciting occasion this summer when the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts Summer Symphony Orchestra presents is annual concert.
The program will be held on Thursday, July 28, at 7:30 pm Zion Lutheran Church 559 Raritan Road, Clark. Summer Symphony Orchestra director Janet Lyman reveals that “this year’s selections comprise a very ambitious program.” According to Ms. Lyman, “If you like overtures and symphonies, you are really going to like the NJWA Summer Symphony Concert. The intergenerational orchestra will be playing the Symphony No. 5 by Tchaikovsky, Dvorak’s.
Symphony No. 4, as well as Mozart’s Abduction from the Seraglio. The program also includes the Rosamunde Overture by Schubert and the Overture to Star Wars.”
The concert is free and open to the public. Free parking is readily available in the Zion Lutheran parking lot. The Summer Symphony Orchestra is a division of the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts, which includes other performing orchestras and ensembles, among which are the Majestic Winds, the Rock Performance Workshop, the International American Alphorn Ensemble, and Wednesday Morning Strings.
