Members of the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts Saturday Orchestras and Wednesday Morning Strings will present a family concert on Sunday, December 17, at 5:00 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 229 Cowperthwaite Place in Westfield.
The concert, for all age levels, will include musical selections of traditional Christmas and Hanukkah music. Among the songs will be Ding Dong Merrily on High, Christmas Canon, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Frosty the Snowman, Silent Night, Dreidel Song and Chanukah, Oh Chanukah. Audience members will be invited to participate singing familiar tunes with the orchestra.
Admission is free, but free-will donations will be gratefully accepted.
Dr. Ted Schlosberg, NJWA Founder and Executive Director, will direct the combined chamber orchestras for the concert.
